I have to say I earned my paycheck yesterday! It was a head spinning day at Mountain Lake yesterday! A TON going on! I don’t see how heavily programmed activity based churches do it! We don’t do all that stuff and we STILL can’t keep up! Here are a few reflections on yesterday:
- Kicked off our new series called Point B. Lots of positive feedback. Really hit people where they’re living.
- The point B life is a life that delivers on what Jesus promised.
- Everything about our ability to get to point B in our lives hinges on the strength and passion of our relationship with Jesus!
- It was GREAT to have Todd Nichols, our Worship Pastor back in the saddle after a maternity leave!
- Graduate Recognition Day. It was great to see our senior’s thoughts on how God has impacted their lives thru Mountain Lake!
- Hope you seniors enjoy the Red Bull and the Ramen Noodles on us, soon!
- Newcomer’s Lunch was great at the N. Forsyth Campus. Probably had the largest number of people EVER submit membership agreements at the end of our time together!
- David Putman did a great job sharing the vision with me. I love that guy. Honored to have you as my partner, friend.
- Louie Lovoy filmed baptism videos ALL DAY yesterday! I love the life change and I love the W.I.T. (whatever it takes) mentality, Louie!
- I had one hour between the end of Newcomer’s Lunch and Leadership Community!
- AT Leadership Community, we just celebrated all that God’s done in and around us in our ministries during the last year. It was awesome to hear our leaders celebrate all the life change and celebrating each other!
- Chad, Rodney and Louie did a great job on the swimming rules video!
- Last but not least, I hung out with my Growth Group at a Pool party, and the rain held off, so all the kids got to swim! Love my Growth Group! I actually enjoy hanging out with these guys!
- Once again, I think we made God smile yesterday at Mountain Lake!
