Here’s how I completed the statement this past Sunday from our stage:
If you really knew me you’d know that:
I got a paddling almost every week in 1st Grade.
I kissed my first girl in the 2nd grade.
I was ADD before ADD was cool.
I don’t sleep well a lot.
I’m a Bama fan.
I enjoy shopping.
I worry more than I should.
I get discouraged. A lot.
I lose my temper;
I don’t serve my wife at all like I should.
I feel alone at the top a lot of times; I actually don’t have many close friends.
I lie. I lust.
I doubt God; I don’t “feel saved” sometimes.
I don’t always love church.
I feel like a failure many Sundays when I leave church.
And if you really knew me, you’d know I’m not exaggerating!
And you still don’t really know me!
But that’s enough about me. Why won’t YOU drop the pose?
If we really knew YOU, what would WE not know about YOU?
Romans 3:23 (NLT) 23For all have sinned; all fall short of God’s glorious standard.
Romans 8:1 (NLT) 1So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.
First of all great message and an amazing turn out. I was jacked so much Sunday I had trouble going to sleep. Although it was packed out I wan to see more.
Anyways my list is similar to yours, If you really knew me You'd know
I worry a lot more than I let on
I definately struggle with worthiness
I'm often more religious than I think
I've let my wife down way to often
I'm a huge Louisville fan
I'm not always wanting to be in church on Sunday especially during football season (shocker?)
I lie I lust
I have a temper
I say things to hurt people intentionally and unintentionally
Regardless of how open I say I am outside of my wife there isn't anyone who knows everything about me
You got me on kissing a girl in 2nd grade (I've got my eye on Paul when he's around Maycie)btw(irrevocable man card)but I'm sure I have you in other places. At the end of the day as Jesus taught and you communicated " We all fall short of God's glory"
Brings new meaning to
without Christ Jesus i am nothing"

The message Sunday made for a really fluid Wednesday night at Growth Group. Best quote of the night by a young lady in our group: "If you really knew me, you'd know...that I got baptized last night!"
