Here are my reflections from this past Sunday (short and sweet because it’s Labor Day):
- Finished up our “If you really knew me” series. Once again, I personally think it’s been one of the most powerful msg series we’ve ever done. Then again, I always think that.
- Rodney Anderson taught and knocked it out of the park. He is SUCH a gifted communicator and I’m reminded of that ever time I hear him speak.
- The “Prodigal son” story came alive as God spoke to us ALL through it.
- I dare say that people in the room identified with the SECOND son as much or more than the FIRST son! I know I did. Anyone else?
- Great to have Casey Darnell back leading with us! Yes, we have him scheduled again!
- ALL I did yesterday was give announcements! I actually got to sit by my wife in church! Love it!
- I simply can not BELIEVE the crowd we had for Labor Day weekend! By FAR the largest crowd we’ve ever had on a Holiday weekend! We had people backed up in our pkg. lot! Hang in there: if I have to do it, we will have someone working traffic at the intersection of 369 & 9 this next Sunday so people can exit our campus faster!
- GREAT DAY. I didn’t teach. Todd didn’t lead worship. AND it was awesome!
- This movement is WAY bigger than a personality, communicator, or charismatic worship leader. God is at work here. Accomplishing His mission through HIS people. Love it. Love HIM. To HIS Name be the Glory!
- Kick off new series this Sunday: “Relationship Rehab.” WHO are you inviting?

This service was life changing for me! It blew my mind... I have been BOTH of the sons in my life! Throughout this series I have been so encouraged and empowered -- especially from the last service! PRAISE GOD and the work He is doing through you guys at MLC! We love you!!!
