HEY Mountain Lakers! By now, some of you are starting to make your way to my new blog, which I will utilize to share my heart with you in many ways as we begin what we are calling "The WOW Movement" here at MLC! More on this on Wednesday and Sunday. Check back often and I'll be sharing Scriptures that God uses to impact me, words of challenge and encouragement for you, and LOTS of information and update about our dream for the future together! Stay tuned! Book mark this page! Let me hear your thoughts (If you're not nice, I'll just hit delete, I won't read).
What an absolute wonderful idea to allow everyone insight into your studies with God ... truely creating a belong and become environment for all who attend and even some who do not. I look forward to seeing more posts of struggles and successes that are posted here.
Keep it up He is smiling

Amazing! I see God Opening so many Doors that no man can shut. May this blog site reach the world and change lives. Thanks for sharing your heart and love with us.

I think your blog is a great idea I know it will help me out in my walk with christ and I pray that it help's others also. I have to say I am so glad I started to come to mountain lake, I didn't want to at first but now I will never leave. This church is so amazing, just how personal it is. And all the things that we are doing in our communities and other places, it is so great. I have never been to a church that cares as much as mlc does, not saying other churches don't care. Keep up the great work Shawn and everybody else you are really making an impact in people's lives. And the christmas rocks on our windshield I was thinking what about stickers on the window's or magnets, just a thought. See you at WNL.

Thanks for having the vision and the courage to see it through! The Rutledge Family is with you and can't wait to see what God does!

Thanks, Shawn! Every avenue to share God's word and what He is doing for us is awsome. When my wife (Marie) and I first moved here from Ca. we were a bit lost on finding a new home for worship. Then God channeled us towards MLC. He's so awsome. Thanks again. Great to be a part of it all!

I am wowed on a regular basis as to what God is doing through Mountain Lake. I am thrilled to be a witness to it all, my family has been with you and Chad almost since the beginning. Remember when it was great to see 10, 50 and then 100 people attend on a Sunday morning? I know you do.
You, Chad and the rest of the team at Mountain Lake are great messengers of God. I so look forward to your messages each week.
Thank you for listening and obeying what God said to you just over 7 years ago.
Love to you all!

Hey Shawn. This is a great idea. The one thing I love about MLC is that it is our family. There is not a single pastor that makes me feel intimidated. I love that I can call you on the phone and give you a hug anytime I need to. Thank you for making the commitment 7 years ago. It has changed our lives.
Love-
Shannon

I think the blog is an awesome idea. I think it will add to the welcoming environment of MLC. It puts the members at a more personal level with the pastor. By posting your thoughts and studies, it makes you seem more like everyone else; kind of like the new series coming up "Pastor Confessions." I am looking forward to that series. I am also looking forward to being WOWED at WNL. I just wish you had given us a little hint. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Take care.
